Your move-to-Spain questions
The questions we hear most, answered plainly. Can’t see yours? Ask us directly — we’re happy to help.
Do you only move people to Spain, or from Spain back to the UK too?
Both. The UK–Spain corridor runs in both directions, so we handle moves from Britain out to Spain and returns from Spain back to the UK. If you are bringing a household back after years abroad, tell us and we will scope the return leg the same careful way.
What is the difference between a part-load and a full load?
A full (dedicated) load means a vehicle carries only your belongings, door to door. A part-load — sometimes called groupage — means your goods share space on a vehicle already running the Spain route, which is well suited to smaller moves. We will recommend whichever fits your volume and how flexible you can be on timing.
How long will my move to Spain take?
It depends on your route, whether you have a dedicated vehicle or a shared part-load, consolidation scheduling and customs clearance. Rather than quote a number that might not hold, we set out an estimated window for your specific move in your written quote, and keep you updated as it progresses.
Can you pack everything for me?
Yes. We offer full professional packing with export-grade materials built for a long overland journey, or a partial service where we handle the fragile and awkward items and you do the rest. Art, pianos and antiques get extra protection as standard when you ask us to pack them.
What about customs and paperwork now that the UK has left the EU?
A household move from the UK to Spain now involves customs formalities that did not exist before Brexit. We guide you through the documentation the process requires and flag what you need well ahead of departure, so paperwork never becomes the thing that holds your belongings at the border.
Which parts of Spain do you cover?
All of it. We run regular routes to the Costa del Sol, the Costa Blanca, Barcelona and Catalonia, Madrid and the Balearic Islands, and we reach inland towns and villages on the same corridor. If your destination is not one of our featured regions, ask — the route almost certainly still works.
Where in the UK do you collect from?
Anywhere in the UK. We regularly collect from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bristol, Liverpool, Cardiff and Newcastle, and from towns and villages in between. Your pickup point does not need to be a big city.
Can you store my things if my Spanish home is not ready?
Yes. Property completions rarely line up perfectly on both sides of the Channel. We offer secure storage in the UK or in Spain and flexible scheduling, so a delay at completion does not force you to rush or derail the whole move.
Can you move my car to Spain as well?
We can advise on moving a vehicle, but it is worth thinking hard about whether you should. Spanish cities increasingly enforce low-emission zones, and re-registering a UK car in Spain takes some doing. For many movers a local vehicle makes more sense — we will talk it through honestly rather than just take the booking.
How do I get started?
Fill in the quote form with your pickup and destination addresses and a few details about what you are moving. We will review it and come back to you to talk through the next step — no obligation, and no pressure.
